Léa Namer is a french artist and architect, she graduated in 2012 from the Ecole d’Architecture de Paris la Villette. In 2011 she takes part in an exchange year at the Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo in Buenos Aires and becomes passionate about the Argentinian capital.
Upon her return, she graduates with a project on the relationship between the city of Buenos Aires and the Rio de la Plata. Since her diploma she has worked for several Parisian architecture and landscape studios and in 2016 she is invited to participate in the curation of the exhibition Îles de la Seine pour the Pavillon de l’Arsenal.
Initiated with Elsa Dupont in January 2019, Léa Namer currently pursues the project of Chacarita Moderna independently. For the architect, the project initiated a broader research work on other exceptional necropolis.
Nowadays, the Chacarita Moderna project continues to evolve and is seeking new places and collaborations to exhibit in France and abroad.
